Come Home to Detroit 2023, Upcoming Events to Connect Talent with Employers

Let’s Detroit is excited to participate in the Back to Michigan event series again this year, however, with a new name, Come Home to Detroit. Back to Michigan is a statewide series of networking events targeting people interested in relocating to Michigan or those who are local and looking to grow their careers in Michigan. The Detroit-based event will be held on Nov. 21, 4-7 p.m. at Valentine Distilling Co. in Ferndale, MI.

This event is purposefully hosted close to Thanksgiving so individuals coming home for the holidays can attend and explore career opportunities back home, in Detroit. However, Come Home to Detroit is not exclusive to boomerangs. All are welcome to attend! Young talent considering a move back to Southeast Michigan, upcoming or recent college graduates, and local young professionals seeking to grow or switch careers are invited. Attendees can connect with top employers in a casual, fun setting. Stop by and grab a drink, a bite to eat, and explore career opportunities.

The event is free but registration is required.

Hear from Angela Buccellato, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of The Resume Rescue, on networking and interviewing best practices. Then, sign up for a mini (10-minute) resume or LinkedIn coaching session. Registration is required.
