Leading Career in Modernization

Whether it’s med tech, software design for autonomous vehicles or cybersecurity, Michigan is a hub for innovative tech jobs. Innovation extends beyond Detroit, too, as evidenced by the Upper Peninsula’s tech sector. Thirty-four tech startups were created in the region by entrepreneurs in 2022; and companies like Orbion Space Technology, DeployedTech and Steelhead Technologies contributed to the region’s generation of a combined $105.9 million in just one year. Michigan Cyber Range hubs like Wayne State University are also spread throughout the state, providing a platform for individuals to receive cybersecurity training with more than 40 industry certifications, exercises and workshops.

What Michiganders Are Saying

“What Michigan has is what a lot of other places don’t — a chance to live in a great town or a great state and be part of a global development community and also have a great quality of life. I think that’s rare, and that’s exciting.”
